Naira Marley is the stage name of Nigerian singer-songwriter Azeez Fashola. He was born on May 10, 1991, in Agege, Lagos State, and is referred to as the “Marlians President,” the leader of his contentious fandom.

Before he became famous in 2017, he had a long career in music. With the smash hit song Issa Goal, which included established musicians like Olamide Badoo, Falz, Simi, Slimcase, and Lil Kesh in the song’s remix, Naira Marley rose to prominence in Nigerian music.
