President Muhammadu Buhari join other muslim faithfuls all over the world to celebrate the Eid Al Fitr which commemorates the end of Ramadan fasting.
President Muhammadu Buhari was seen observing the Eid Al Fitr prayers in company of his family members at the State House.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic outbreak in Nigeria, large religion gathering has been banned in a bid to avoid community spread of the virus.
The Sultan of Sokoto, who is also the highest ranked religion leader of the muslim faith in Nigeria has encouraged his followers to solemnly observe the Eid prayers in their respective homes, though the call by the Sultan of Sokoto did not go down well with since muslim faithful.
The Eid prayer held at the State house has in attendance, President Muhammadu Buhari, his wife Aisha Buhari, their son and daughters, also present in the gathering is the newly appointed Chief of Staff to the President, Professor Ayoola Gambari.
